Ask Dvorahji: Is There a FINAL SHIFT that ends suffering?
Thu at 11:20pm | Edit Note | Delete
Dear Dvorahji: Most of my questions have abated but from
time to time suffering still comes and my aim has always
been for the permanent disappearance of suffering. Is there
some final shift that happened for you that ended your
 suffering once and for all?
Darling: From my experience THERE IS NO ONCE &
FOR ALL-AN ENDING POINT. IT’S OPEN ENDED and for
some reason, I’m capable of living with THIS unknown
awesomeness of it all. Advaita and many other teachings
& Masters seem to “suggest” that they are Done in
some way. They have a final verifiable understanding.
 To ME THAT’S REALLY STUPID/misleading.

The only final UNDERSTANDING (from my perspective) is
I DON’T KNOW, in a very BiG AWESOME way and The
searching and questions have stopped! A question about
enlightenment may come up but it has no life, unless it’s
practical or interesting and catches me in conversation.
Sometimes I’m intrigued with what great Masters have to
say, but I forget it the next moment, cause it comes &
goes, disappears into the next moment like everything else.

My suggestion if you really want to be FREE, happy, is to just
let it ALL come and go and There you ARE! Aware and HERE.
Look around you. It’s all right here with your awareness. No
awareness, nothing exists. My little ditty of “Shut Up and Be
Happy” really is (from my perspective) the final “ABSOLUTE
TRUTH and MANTRA for CompletE Happiness. And, of course,
if you can’t be happy then at least enjoy your misery! Or not,
until it changes again and again and again…

I Hope this offers you even greater peace, so you can stop
desperately waiting for that ‘I” to disappear. It certainly was
one a freeing stroke for me, when I realized that this “I” that
everyone is yapping about lives on like everything else. IT
comes & then it Goes along with the rest of your
 happenings and experiences.

So Now…shed that last twitch in the brain and BE Happy!

It is really a big disappointment to know that i will never know. Do you suggest that we should remain ignorant and be happy?

The BIG I DON’T KNOW…is not like the little I don’t know. And ignorance comes from the little I don’t know. I don’t suggest you be “ignorant & happy”. I suggest you BE HAPPINESS & HAPPY.

To me even being happy is not important. I feel a great sense of detachment to both unhappiness and unhappiness.. It is also possible to become unhappy because one think one ought to be happy and then become frustrated because one is not.. It is liberating to simply allow one self to be miserable 100%.. : ) and see how long…

Unabashed is the way to be. That’s the only way you every find out anything. There is so much unhappiness & confusion in this search to “become a certain way”. IT’s really quite tragic. People expect Happiness/enlightenment to look like “something” and when it doesn’t look like that “something” they think it should look like — OFF THEY GO SEARCHING FOR “SOMETHING AGAIN.

Relax… just relax…everything is fine.

Honestly? WHO THE F@#@ CARES!!!! That particular question has kept seekers on hold for years, wondering “whether they GOT IT RIGHT OR NOT!

It doesn’t matter who sees what! IT’s only the “thought of Who” that wants to see WHO, that drives people crazy. A “thought” wants to know what a “thought” means. Do you see how silly that is?

If you exist, you exist. If you are, you are. If you’re happy, you’re happy. If you witness you witness. If you don’t you don’t. It’s the MIND that questions every little state the “body’s in. And your THOUGHTS/YOU” BUY INTO THAT”…. Read More

You go, Dvorahji, girl
. Concepts are very useful insofar as they take us to to the next level; or illustrate a point. But when we get hung up on them, we miss the forest for the trees. Some people who claim enlightenment never get past that. Spirituality is not an intellectual process, but an emotional one.

It’s not a ‘state of Being” it’s Being, it just kinda IS.

Ok, Fox…speak up what do you want to say? What do you “know” that I don’t “know”? What have you experienced?

You know talking about this stuff is really like talking about what color is blue? What does it matter what’s aware of What? Doesn’t clear anything up for anyone. Just makes them continue to “look” for that “something” that’s aware of evern this state of being”….

Dear Dvorahji, wow! just read the who fuck cares bit… but when I did a course that is callled “who is in” (tibetan method) it matters totally, it is totally a question of WHO… and reallly really really, the effect after 72 hours constant asking WHO IS IN!! it takes you there… where you normally are not…beyond happiness, beyond unhappiness. … Read More

There is no experience (even “direct” experience) which has any value at all. (Although some experiences can be fun of course.) All experiences come and go – and are seen. By whom or by what are they seen….?

“Being happy and shutting up” is of course a pretty cool phenomenon – however, as all phenomena come and go, even this is nothing else than a appearance. In what does this phenomenon appear? (All answers are of course other appearances…..the question doesn’t need an answer! It burns away all answers…like the last match of a box of matches.)

Hege..asking the question “Who AM I” – has it’s place and serves it’s purpose…It opens you up to seeing that “NOTHIN IS THERE” once you go beyond “thinking” you are your thoughts, You begin to see your Nature…Love, Enlightenment, Peace, Spacious Being, Awesomely Wonderful is your Nature…So there is definitely a place for asking “WHO AM I” and it serves it’s purpose. A thought to remove a thought and let go.

HOWEVER! THERE are many people out there who have already done that, who have experiences this vast peace and are “in IT” Happy in their Nature already, as life happens…and then…off they go again looking to “get rid of the I forever”. And that search causes unhappiness, because that ” I” comes up like anything else in the MIDST OF THAT VAST PEACE THAT YOU ARE.

I love Ramana, Ramesh, and if you read any of Ramesh’s or Ramana book, you will see that essence of what they talk about is Not a “search for that I” BUT…RELAXING INTO YOUR NATURE…being natural, Resting in THAT…and letting life take care of itself….ASK WHO AM I, but once you’ve found your peace RELAX or not…continue the “I” search until you don’t…

I’m here in a different way…I offer this knowledge from a different perspective…and some people who’s ears are attuned to this song will flower from this offereing…

There are so many teachers out there, singing their own song…those that can hear rejoice in their new explosion of BEING…

HI FOX…you’re obviously very much into the Advaita thing, when you ask the question “BY Whom or by What? Great! It’s a perfect question for many.

IT’s the advaita way…especially of the myriad of adviata teachers that have cropped up…and I love these guys and let them do heir thing…AGAIN IT IS NOT MY THING. I don’t want to go around asking people “by whom or by what?”….

and Yes, “everything is phenomenon and it comes & goes”—-meaningwhile until that becomes establishes NATURALLY, IN IT’S OWN TIME COMPLETELY IN THE EVERYDAY, PRACTICAL BEING OF LIFE AMIDST ALL IT’S HEARTBRAKE AND DIVERSITY……I SAY:..

Relax, be happy, do what you do spiritually (whateve that may be) and DEEPLY RELAX into yourself without all this worry and concern because the Divine adores you, loves you and is always there for you…And relax, because if your life could be different, it would be Different…”Deeds are done, but there is NO Individual doer”–Budda

FROM MY PERSPECTIVE – Life is a Happening and we need to relax & accept that happening to make our life bearable & joyful, whichever comes up.

Let the intellectuals DISCUSS TO NO END “WHO, WHAT, HOW, and the in’s and out’s of Who, what how….There is nothing wrong with asking the question “WHO AM I ” —BUT UNFORTUNATELY like every other CONCEPT IN the world WE CAN’T SHUT UP ABOUT IT.

So for Me SHUT UP (fall silent into yourself) & BE HAPPY – is the best concept in town….
